About the event
Please join me Thursday November 11, 2021 from 6:30p to 8:30p as we chat with Dr. Mari Whiteley.
Born in Cuba, Dr. Whiteley migrated to Costa Rica for 3 years and then on to the US. Dr. Whiteley holds a BS in Biology from FAU in Boca Ratón, Fl.  She then attened Nova Southeastern University College of Medicine where she obtained her medical degree.  Dr. Whiteley performed her residency in Pathology at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami, and Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA. In 2008 she moved to Charleston, S.C with her family and has been living in Mount Pleasant ever since. Â
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn how we can connect as a community, educate, inform and support others who may not understand what it means to live in a communist country. Â
There will be an opportunity for Q+A with Dr. Whiteley, followed by an open discussion on current events.
